Processing Academic Writing Online: The Case For Process Approach

The learning process of academic writing is already difficult for many students. online environment can either hinder or facilitate writing. seen as cyclical. In the context this study, writer starts with planning stage. Once done, translates ideas into written form in a draft. then reviews If unhappy draft, he/she makes plans to repair, and resumes circle. This quantitative research done investigate how learners use cognitive meta strategies when they learn French foreign language. instrument used survey 4 sections. With reference Table 1, section A has 1 item on demographic profile. Section B 8 items planning, C translating, D 7 reviewing. 63 respondents were purposively chosen answer survey. General findings revealed that writers’ motivation was during translation reviewing stages. Findings study bear interesting implications teaching using via mode.
